Terms and Conditions (aka the fine print)
While it is in our best interest to receive referrals and pay referral bonuses – for legal reasons, the terms of this program must be written such that we can get out of it if we have a problem. It is not our intent to scam you out of your bonus – as doing so would tarnish our reputation. That said:
This program is one sided and does not constitute a binding agreement upon either party. Outlander may choose to change the terms or conditions regarding any referrer or referred client at any time for any or no reason. The amount given as a referral payment (if any) will be at the sole discretion of Outlander Marketing.
Our current maximum referral payout is $200 for a business website referral and $100 for a personal website referral – subject to change and at the discretion of Outlander Marketing.
A business website is a website priced according to our business package. A personal website is a website priced according to our personal website package. If the website is offered to the client at a discounted rate, Outlander may, at their sole discretion reduce the commission amount.
A website referral is complete when a referred client pays the final payment on a website at the given pricing. No referral payment shall be made until the final client payment is made – if the final payment is not made, or legal action is pending or has occurred, then any referral payment will be at the discretion of Outlander.
Please do not use the referral program as a discount on their own website – we request that if you are interested in your own website, you would contact us directly and mention this program (note that a discount based on this program will exclude any other person from claiming you as a referred client).
There can be no more than one referral payment per client. If multiple claims are made, it is at the sole discretion of Outlander to choose between the claims and/or split the referral bonus.
No referrer may represent Outlander in any capacity. No referrer may solicit or cold call businesses or potential clients that they do not personally have a connection with (mass marketing, cold calling and spamming are prohibited – doing this will automatically disqualify you from receiving a referral bonus and may warrant legal action). Outlander reserves the right to prohibit any individual or entity from participating in this program for any or no reason, even after a valid referral.
Outlander reserves the right to change, modify or terminate this plan at any time.
